A look at month 2 of God's Holy Calendar... "An Open Door in the Heavens"

Month 2 of God's Holy Calendar has a window open... or shoud I say a doorway open into the heavens... look at all the events that took place during this month!

DAY 15: Feast of Unleavened Bread kept in second month by Hezekiah, II Chronicles 30:13, 21-23.

LOOK AT ALL THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN ONE WEEK  7 DAYS OF EACH OTHER and or 14 DAYS of each other!

DAY 17: Fountains of deep broken up, 40 days of rain begin the Noachian Flood, Genesis 7:11.

DAY 20: Cloud taken up, Israel begins journeying from Sinai in the second year of the Exodus, Numbers 10:11.

DAY 24 JESUS ASCENDED INTO THE CLOUD - HOLY SPIRIT WAS BREATHED ON THE DISCIPLES, LUK 24:49, ACTS 1:11

DAY 27 ONE YEAR LATTER AFTER FLOOD STARTED: God told Noah to go forth out of the ark, Genesis 8:14.

DAY 50 -X Pentecost, a Holy Day, always falls on second day of the week, can be on 7th, 9th, 11th, or 13th of third month.

JESUS BREATHED ON THEM THE HOLY SPIRT THE DAY HE ASCENDED... DAY 40 OF THE COUNTING OF THE OMER, 10 DAYS PRIOR TO PENTECOST

The Messiah was seen by hundreds of disciples, I Corinthians 15:1-9. There were many infallible proofs during the forty days of the resurrected Savior's teaching, Acts 1:1-3. During a meal, after they had been with him for 40 days, ( Songs study finds the bride in this type of Ministry) He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Acts 1:4-5. This power would enable them to be witnesses of the Messiah in all the world, verses 6-8. The promise had actually been made the night of the Passover, before they left to go to Gethsemane, John 14:16-17, 16:7-16.

Ten More Days to Wait! Month 2 day 40 of the Counting of the Omer

After forty days, the Savior was not to be seen again by them. He was taken up to Heaven into a cloud and out of their sight. He gave them a blessing, and departed from them, and was carried up into heaven, Luke 24:51. Two angels announced that He would return on this very spot, the Mount of Olives, Acts 1:9-12, Zechariah 14:4-9.

The angels said he would return in "like manor" is the Day of Acention a possible catching away day?! It hold tremendous possibilities, also fits with the Songs 1-2 Study... the bride is in ministry before the "Banquet" (Pentecost? possibly )

Ten more days to tarry! What an eternity it must have been! So they returned, gathered together, continuing with one accord in prayer and supplication, Acts 1:12-14. They were joyful, worshipping Him, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing the Almighty, Luke 24:50-53. The eleven had to sit in judgment, because a replacement for Judas had to be found. So, the lot of judgment fell upon Matthias, who was now to be numbered with the others who would sit upon the twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel, Acts 1:15-26

THE DISCIPELES HAD TO WAIT UNTIL PENTECOST UNTIL THE FULL MEASURE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS GIVEN TO THEM.

First, they had to wait: "And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power [Holy Spirit] from on high," Luke 24:49.
