The “LET US” Chapter

Songs 7: 11-13 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 12Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves. 13The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

Previous Songs Chapter 1-7 Studies

In the previous study, Songs chapter 7:1-11 introduced the “prince’s daughter”, those who are new converts and possible daughters from the Prince’s of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The chapter closes with the harvesting of the “prince’s daughter, part of the wheat harvest. Rev 14 closes with the wheat harvest then the grapes are thrown into the winepress of God’s wrath. In the final verses in Songs chapter 7 we find the bride and groom have gone forth and are lodging in the villages and in the field and are going to check on the vine. In Songs 7 and in Rev. 14: 15, the “wheat harvest” has taken place, now those from the “wheat” or first half of the tribulation have been harvest… confirmed in chapter 8.

SUMMARY:

TO THE SHULAMITE BRIDE- BRIDE OF CHRIST:

KING-GROOM TO BRIDE: 11Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Each word in this verse has a direct meaning, in other words it is unlike many words and verses in the Songs that have been very cryptic. Simply put the “Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages” means just that! The groom has asked the bride to come and depart and go forth and exit the place where they reside and go into the field and lodge, stop over in the villages. The word villages means a literal village but it also has a dual meaning and is applicable to the passage; to lodge and stop over in the “villages” is to cover, purge, make reconciliation and atonement over them by making a cover with a pitch. The question one might ask is; where the Groom KING and the Bride come from and where are they going? The answer is found in Songs 1 and 2; The Bride has departed Earth on 3 occasions and has been with the Groom the King in “Their House”. Previously mentioned in other chapters the bride has been in field or pastureland is where the flocks have been, and in the garden. The bride and groom have been tending and teaching the flock, Songs 1:7-8 at the footsteps of the flocks feeding the goats (no goats in Heaven), the Bride in Songs 2:14-16 is in warfare taking hold of the foxes that are spoiling the vine; in Songs 6:13 Shulamite Bride looks as if she is two armies, those in the garden beckon the bride to return so they can GAZE upon her! The question to the answer is this; the Bride and Groom are leaving their dwelling place, “their house” heaven, and are going to where the harvest will be the vineyard, the garden, Earth.

BRIDE AND GROOM WORKING TOGETHER AS ONE, SIDE BY SIDE-“LET US!”12Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves. “LET US”- The word get up early comes from the root word “shoulder”. Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut ; and he shall shut, and none shall open. The bride appears to come from the Church of Philadelphia, and or any other churches/people who are over comers, found in Rev. 2-3. The word “rise up early also has a meaning of a “open window” in the Heavens, and is found in Month 2 day 17.( see Clue #2 Study on Noah). There appears to be many open windows in the Feast of Weeks, this is just one of those windows.

The bride and groom move in one accord, HE desires HIS Bride’s company and what is HIS has become HERS; the Bride is to inspect the vine and fruit with HIM. He says, “let us get up early, let us see.” means let’s look at, consider and inspect together the vineyard! The creator of the Universe is inviting HIS Bride to consider and see and examine the remaining harvest with him! WOW!

THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIP? CHECKING ON THE VINE, THE TENDER GRAPES, THE

POMEGRANATE

“Let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth:” The vine refers to the harvest of those who remain, Israel, also those in judgment, and those who have prospered in HIM which is to have come to him. Tender grapes are only mentioned 3 times and “tender grapes” refer to the end of the harvest” Tender grapes are only mentioned in the Songs 2:13, 15 and Songs 7:12 and Isaiah. In the book of Isaiah chapter 17 it tells us what the vine and harvest will look like in that day: In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: [but] the harvest [shall be] a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

The seed to “Flourish” starts with the latter rain that is poured out in Joel 2. The word

“Flourish” is mentioned only five times in the scriptures; two of those times

“Flourished” is mentioned in the Songs 6:11, 7:12. Meaning each time the end of the age and the harvest of the vine the grapes. Look at the word “flourish” in Ezekiel, And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done [it]. Ezekiel 17:24

The pomegranates that “bud forth”: means to flee away from the heathen, to depart from there touch nothing unclean… in the following scriptures he calls the bud his “PLEASANT FRUIT” a reference to Joseph… who was “separate from his brethren. Just like Joseph who touched nothing unclean and he fled away from the heathen and trouble, like Potipher’s wife.

THE GARDEN; and it will be in “THE” Garden that he will give the BRIDE his “loves”. THE GROOM KING GIVES THE BRIDE “HIS LOVES”: There I will give you my love(s)-(plural) in the garden he will give her his LOVES. Who are his loves? His loves are those in “the garden”, those who have come to him, those that both HE and the Bride have been tending too. Those in the garden are His; he will give them to the BRIDE. Oh really! He is going to give the fruit of the harvest to his Bride! Next verse… Songs 7: 13The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

THE GROOM KING HAS LAID UP FOR HIS BRIDE ALL MANNER OF PLEASANT FRUITS, NEW AND OLD... AT THEIR GATES- “OUR GATES” Pleasant fruit is mentioned in the scripture only 7 times, and “precious fruit” mentioned four times in reference to Joseph, being separate from his brethren. When all is said and done, the “precious fruit”, which are the “precious things”, both “new and old”, will HE, the KING lay up for “HIS BRIDE” at their gates. The groom the KING gives ownership to his wife, HIS BRIDE, what is HIS has becomes theirs. In Songs 7:13 he says, “OUR GATES” and the fruit at “OUR GATES” is both new and old, and HE has laid it up for HER, his BRIDE! How exciting!!! The precious fruit that has been harvested has been done so with the help of the BRIDE. 13The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved. In Songs 1:7-8,

The bride has been helping bring in the harvest, feeding the flock, warfare; she has appeared as if two armies. The groom has rewarded the bride with the precious fruit, HE HAS LAID UP FOR HER BOTH NEW AND OLD PLEASANT FRUITS! (Songs 1:7-8 tending and feeding flock, Songs 2:14-16 warfare taking hold of the foxes, Songs 6:13 Shulamite Bride looks as if she is two armies.)

KEY POINTS:

• “Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages” means just that! The groom has asked the bride to come and depart and go forth and exit the place where they reside and go into the field and lodge, stop over in the villages.

• The Bride is to inspect the vine and fruit with HIM.

• He says, “let us get up early, let us see.” means let’s look at, consider and inspect together the vineyard!

• “Get up early” linked to the Key of David- comes from the root word “shoulder”. Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open , and none shall shut ; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

• The word “rise up early also has a meaning of a “open window” in the Heavens, and is found in Month 2 day 17.( see Clue #2 Study on Noah).

• The pomegranates that “bud forth”: means to flea away from the heathen, to depart from there touch nothing unclean, references to Joseph.

• There I will give you my love(s)-(plural). In the garden he will give her his LOVES. His loves are those in “the garden”, those who have come to him, those that both HE and the Bride have been tending too.

• At our gates- “OUR GATES” speaks volumes, what is the KING’s is now the BRIDES!

• All manner of pleasant fruits, a type of Joseph, new being separate coming out from the heathen. Fruit of the Harvest!

• Fruit new and old; the old possibly Christians from the church age that did not get raptured, because of sin they forfeited their right to be the bride. New fruit is new converts. The precious fruit that has been harvested has been done so with the help of the BRIDE.

• Which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

Pomegranate has a priestly connection; it is associated with the priest of the temple and is an ornament that the priest wears as a tassel on their priestly garments. The root word meaning behind “Pomegranate” is to be exalted or lifted up. I believe this reference in the Songs is a type of Priestly service found in the garden, perhaps, teachers, or priest, rabbis, those who are serving as a type of minister, priest and teacher in the garden.

• POMOGRANATE: 1) pomegranate a) as tree b) as fruit c) as pomegranate shaped ornaments in temple
